1. Why has ECEI stopped accepting new applications?
On October 28, 2006, the ABET Board of Directors made a business decision to phase out the ABET credentials evaluation service—ECEI.

2.   What will happen to my application?
ECEI is currently closing files and returning original documents to applicants.  We will also refund application fee and apply the mailing fee to return original documents.

3.   How soon until I get my documents?
Approximately 3-4 weeks after confirmation of your mailing address.

4.   Will you refund my application fee?
Yes. We will refund the application fee and apply the mailing fee to return your original documents. If you did not prepay the mailing fee, we will deduct it from your refund.

5.   Which evaluation service should I use?
  We suggest you contact your State Board or employer for instructions regarding evaluation of your credentials.

6.   May I have a duplicate copy of my evaluation?
Yes.  Please refer to instructions at the top of this page.
